About this Event
1 DECEMBER 2016. 11.00-16.00
House Pantry, On the 7th, MediaCityUK, Salford, Manchester
Special Guests: SMILE
This event is a perfect opportunity to fast-track team members that are hungry for knowledge of what’s happening across the world, what the next trends wave might be, and how they can apply it all to their own institution. It’s ideal for networking with like-minded professionals too, without giving any secrets away! Previous delegates have come from a range of universities, and a variety of roles, including marketing officers, managers and directors – anyone that’s keen to accelerate their digital knowledge and skills.
Venue: The House Pantry is a creative workspace within the exclusive ‘On the 7th’ members-only club in MediaCityUK. All within an easy taxi or tram ride from Manchester’s main stations. An NCP car park is also on site too. The House Pantry is an informal, comfortable, and very interesting room, with views of the fast developing media landscape – all designed to inspire creative thinking. A fantastic lunch will keep the energy levels up too. Trust us, it’s a world far removed from rows of chairs, cabaret layouts and triangular sandwiches.
Agenda: Running from 11-4, and including a networking lunch, we will mix interactive presentations and workshops to cover the very latest digital trends, a worldwide index of inspiration – with university examples from the UK, Australia, USA and beyond – with the chance to take part in our fictional university team, hacking the latest ideas in student communication and conversion. We’re also delighted to have SMILE, a digital agency specialising in HE, joining us to share insights into the fast emerging world of chatbots, and what this means for Higher Education. Full details and agenda are available from email@example.com
Output: Knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in wider world and HE marketing goes without saying. But participants will also understand the bigger picture of how the education market is evolving, whilst recognising how consumer brands / organisations are learning to compete for attention. And, of course there is the opportunity to share and work with like minded professionals from other institutions (without disclosing any competitive information of course!), to generate ideas and to learn how to apply some of the inspiration from the day to specific goals.
Price per person is £395 + VAT, including lunch, refreshments and an invaluable case study toolkit to take away.
Multiple bookings will attract a 10% discount for each additional space booked. Therefore, for a booking of 3 people, the first space will be charged at the full price, the second and third at a 10% discounted rate.
